Description
O'Reilly was established in 1934 and now has offices in Penrith, Carlisle,
Kirkby Stephen, Hawes and Leyburn. O'Reilly has 6 partners and over 50
staff.
Our clients range from sole traders to companies with turnover of £10
million or more. The agriculture sector accounts for about 50% of business
clients with the construction, tourism, property, services and retail
sectors all featuring strongly. We serve a variety of other important
local organisations including the Penrith Building Society, the Cumberland
and Westmorland Herald, charities and schools. In addition, the firm
has a large number of personal clients.
The majority of our clients are based in Cumbria, the Borders and North
Yorkshire, but we also have many in other parts of the UK and some clients
who are based abroad. Accountancy services used to be very tightly focused on annual accounts
preparation, audit and tax advice. Many clients are now looking for a
wider range of advice and support on an ongoing basis throughout the
financial year and we have developed our approach to meet this demand.
Our objective is to become a partner to each client and to assist them
in whatever way we can to achieve their goals. We aim to be approachable
and available to discuss any issues of interest and concern. We would
like to build a discreet, professional and relaxed business relationship
with each client, where they feel free to use us as a sounding board
when considering any business issue.
Businesses today face many challenges. The environment in which they
operate has been made increasingly complicated by additional rules, regulations
and bureaucracy.
Whether you are a sole trader, a partnership or a limited company, not
only can we help you to satisfy your legal requirements, we can provide
the kind of practical advice and assistance which will add value to your
business and help make your life easier.
We are equally interested in working with other types of organisations
such as charities and with individual personal clients. Regardless of
the size of your organisation, you will find the same high standard of
service from our professional and approachable staff. The marketplace for financial services products can be extremely confusing,
with a constant flow of new products, changing advice and ever-changing
market conditions.
One solution is to use an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA) such as
O'Reilly. IFAs can advise on most insurance company and investment products
and they are duty bound to act in the best interests of you the client.
Our financial services department is authorised and regulated by the
Financial Services Authority. |
